Kanon is a small Highlander who is a part of the 24/7 Gals idol group. She also works as a private investigator on her spare time. Her current expedition in Karsand accidentally got her involved with Kesteri's operations, thus becoming one of their targets. She meets Kenzo Vanguard and his group during their encounter with the Frame, AU-722 Griffonclaw. Kanon also has a severe infatuation towards Kenzo and is not afraid to express it towards him, sometimes to a creepy level. This in return, causes Kenzo to fear her.

Playstyle

Kanon has a straightforward playstyle when using her Pandemonium style. She has the highest chain potential and therefore, can stance break opponents at ease. Her Flow Ability also allows her to increase damage output based on how many enemies she KO's during battles. In contrast, "Envoy of Chaos" style lets her take on a role as a Tank, providing a solid defense and allowing her to control the battlefield with the use of the "Confusion" status effect.

Background

Kanon lived in the small village of Frijjilk, around the outskirts of NW Highlands, where she was treated as an outcast due to her small figure. The lifestyle in Frijjilk was that the bigger the person is, the happier and more attractive they are. By these standards, Kanon became a prime target for bullying and abuse. Growing up, she developed a hatred towards people and Caelum's population as a whole. This hatred later became bloodlust. Her desire to kill became imminent when she stole a military grade bazooka from the village chief's house and started going on a rampage towards the forest creatures right next to the village. She was banished from the village as a result and was left for dead until she was discovered by a good Samaritan, who was on a pilgrimage at the time. The Samaritan gave her shelter and a ticket to Souen, where she was later adopted by the owner of 24/7. From there, she started a new life, and even became an idol.

Personality

Kanon's problem with self-image stems all the way from her childhood, where she was treated horribly by her parents. Due to her small figure, she was treated as an outcast and suffered constant physical and mental abuse. As such, she believed her petiteness only causes her more harm than good. Her relationships did not last long either as she ended up being fetishized by her partners, or was treated as a child. Due to her traumatic past, she became increasingly violent, and eventually developed a lust for killing. Although she claims she loves genocide, she hasn't killed a single intelligent life. Creatures, however, are a different story.

She later developed a speech pattern as a coping mechanism and thinks that by speaking that way, people won't be hostile towards her. Thus, making them easier to kill, as she claims. This speech pattern later became her signature, as she was recruited as a part of the Idol group, 24/7 Gals. Even though she always claims she wants to destroy the entire Caelum population, her fans do not see it that way. Instead, they take it as an act, or a metaphor for "Love".

Even though she planned to kill everyone on the planet, Kanon started developing romantic feelings towards Kenzo. This in return, created conflict within her character as she believed such feelings would serve no purpose in a world where an impending "doom" was imminent. Whether her feelings were valid or not, she decided to use her own violent affection as a weapon in order to trick Kenzo to become fearful of her. Thus, leaving him vulnerable for her own desires.

Reika is perhaps the only friend she ever made in the 24/7 Idols group.

Kenzo Vanguard

Kanon has a tremendous crush towards him. Although, she does not know if it's only infatuation or actual love. Even so, this didn't stop her from violently showing affection towards him, which she uses as a mask in order to get what she wants out of him.

Rita Laufel

Kanon sees Rita as a threat, mostly because of her "voluptuous figure". She claims that her astute beauty may even entice the same sex. As such, she keeps a close eye on her, much to Rita's dismay.

• The Moji Clan recognizes her as a representative of their race. They even started inheriting some of her speech patterns, particularly her over usage of "mou".
