Artoria Lupus Domitia is a female COM who currently rules over the continent of Aels. However, unlike other political leaders, she prefers to travel frequently and lead her militia in order to resolve conflict throughout Caelum. This makes her one of the most popular political figures in all of Caelum. She doubles as an Arbiter, safeguarding any unauthorized access to the Aels central Frame research lab.

Artoria also holds the most powerful Frame in existence, LX-01 Excalibur. Although she does not use it unless situation calls for it.

Artoria is also a secret playable character and therefore cannot be used in main story scenarios.

How to Unlock

NOTE: You must complete J and Genkei Igarashi subplot first before doing these steps. Refer to Guide: J and Genkei Subplot for more info.

• Head over to Relieon City in Aels and talk to J's son, JJ. He will ask you to deliver a personal letter to his dad whenever you get the chance to go back to Souen.
• Go back to Souen and talk to J. He will tell you that how did his son know he had connections with Artoria. He will tell you to go back to Relieon and ask for an audience with Artoria.
• A court jester will appear before you as you enter Artoria's throne telling you that "she's in another castle". Keep this in mind.
• Go back to Souen and talk to J again. You will be given three choices to test your memory. Pick "She's in another castle". THIS IS IMPORTANT, AS YOU CAN EASILY MISS UNLOCKING ARTORIA IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG CHOICE.
• J will immediately know that the meaning of the secret phrase and tells you to head into the Karsandan Scrapyard to snag an item called "Perfect Sphere".
• Head into the Karsandan Scrapyard. A new boss will be waiting for you somewhere in the dungeon. Kill it one time and it will drop the sphere.
• Return to J to show him the sphere. He will call his son and reveal to you that his son was actually in the process of making Artoria's weapon and he "screwed up" making it. With the Perfect Sphere, he can now finish what he started. Enjoy the rest of the cutscene.
• After the cutscene, you will be tasked to go back and talk to the Jester.
• Show the weapon to the Jester and you will now be granted an audience with Artoria, who will thank you for your noble efforts. She will also tell you that if you need her help, you can call her at any time.
• CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE UNLOCKED ARTORIA!
