Avanoa Byrjun, otherwise known as Core, is an exiled Exorcist from the Path of Ethos. He is a zealot that goes around Karsand, converting "sinners" into followers by any means necessary. He has no affiliation with the bandits' backers, but played a small part in their master plan. He is also responsible for the deaths of multiple Karsandan government officials in early 3016. As an Exorcist, he is capable of invading people's minds and dreams, altering their state, and sometimes brainwashing them. His Flow Ability lets him see into the deepest part of people's consciousness and replace them with false memories, making his brainwashing techniques extremely volatile. Furthermore, the ability can be used against multiple people at once.

At the beginning of the battle, DJ Krats' Flow Ability "Threatening Roar" will activate, inflicting "Shock" to the 2nd and 3rd party member. He will also attack randomly with "Let's MF'in dance", "I'ma spit in yo face", or "Throw down a face-down" throughout each turn. If affected by a normal status effect, DJ Krats will prioritize using a Reliever during his turn. "I'ma spit in yo face" inflicts poison, and "Throw down a face-down" has a high chance of inflicting shock, so it is recommended to bring Relievers to this fight.

DJ Krats will summon one random clone. These clones will have either or as disciplines. The clone will also copy half of his HP and OFP. However each clone will have different disciplines and movesets. Luckily, both clones are limited to only two skills, but be careful. If a clone dies, it will activate DJ Krats' overdrive ("Karsandan Greeting"), dealing catastrophic damage to the party. The discipline of the overdrive depends on which clone you destroy, so it is recommended to stack defenses beforehand.
---

The Skill clone will initially mark the player's party with a debuff that increases incoming dmg by 25%. Afterwards, it will start using chainer moves. It is recommended to prioritize this clone, as it has the potential to stance break a party member easily in a single turn.

The Defensive clone will use a permanent taunt move to the party upon summon, then will start using regular attacks that can debuff AGI.

Final Phase:
Final Phase:
DJ Krats will summon both of his clones this phase, and will use a secondary overdrive ("Let's bake these mofos") immediately after summon: enhancing the entire team's stats by 20% for the duration of the fight. For every 3rd turn, he will also mark the player's party with a debuff called "Gestalt Meter", reducing their DFP by 10% for each stack. If this status effect is stacked 4 times, it will incapacitate the entire party. Due to this mechanic, it is recommended to use Elysion, as she can bypass incapacitation for a couple of turns. Otherwise, your team comp will need to be powerful enough to last 12 turns.

SPOILER WARNING!
The following entry below contains SPOILERS for Lie of Caelum: Spirit!

"It does not matter who you are. All sinners must face absolution."

Core (Real name: Avanoa Byrjun) is an exiled Exorcist from the Path of Ethos. He is a zealot that goes around Karsand, converting "sinners" into followers by any means necessary. He has no affiliation with the bandits' backers, but played a small part in their master plan (mostly due to Gigarths' unstable and sometimes zealous state of mind). As an Exorcist, he is capable of invading people's minds and dreams, altering their state, and sometimes brainwashing them. His Flow Ability lets him peer into the deepest part of people's consciousness and replace them with false memories, making his brainwashing techniques extremely volatile. Furthermore, the ability can be used against multiple people at once.

Background

Before becoming Core, Avanoa was a low-class social worker. He faced many hardships in his career, including several evictions due to his plummeting social and financial credit. Even though he lived a normal life, he had no outside help, thus putting him at risk of becoming homeless. Due to Karsand's harsh conditions, especially towards low class people, becoming one would mean death. This was until an Exorcist came and showed him the Path of Ethos. Like many followers, Avanoa was enticed at the idea of a selfless community. The Path of Ethos offered a home and allowance without repercussions. All that was needed was to attend a mass every 7th Day, and to become an Exorcist as an optional job. Avanoa liked this idea and joined the sect, not knowing that his Flow Ability would manifest itself later on.

His rise as an exceptional Exorcist awakened Avanoa's Flow Ability and soon became obsessed with the job. His obsession would lead him into going in expeditions for months, trying to find people who need purification. When a mysterious being appeared before him and informed him about Caelum's corrupted state, he became deluded on the fact that people needed saving no matter who they were. Soon after, he started "Purifying" powerful people, including Kenzo's father, Gigarths, and then later, the Karsandan Queen, Ma'at.
