Rita is the younger sister of Ridal Laufel and much like her brother, is shunned by her family mainly due to her interest in shamanism instead of magic. She is usually paired with Mi'khora, an Ethos Knight from Karsand and shows great interest in her and her culture. She tricks her own brother into letting her join Kenzo as a part of Kazuri's Karsand relations team. Her primary motive was to sneak Mi'khora in Karsand and confront one of the excommunicated Path of Ethos members, hoping to unlock the secrets behind Shaman magic. During her mission, she was separated from the team and was eventually found in a small village within the Karsand Dunes.

Playstyle

Rita is the only character who can fill all roles due to her "Versus" role. Her primary mechanic is her Flow Ability: Emphasis. This ability allows her to generate FP for the entire party by Just Attacking, whereas Just Guarding will reflect damage back to the enemy based on her OFP (damage calculation is applied normally). This makes DEX and DFP two of the most significant assets when planning her stats, while OFP being second. She is also capable of counterattacking after being attacked once per turn and has Flow skills that reinforce counterattacks. While she is versatile in all aspects, she also has the least amount of overall stats from the rest of the roster.

Personality

Rita, to the core, is a blunt and no-nonsense individual with a sharp wit. She's a bookworm at heart, spending most of her time lost in the pages of her latest read. Her love for books extends to a deep appreciation for shamanism and unconventional means of achieving Flow Magic. Rita is fiercely independent and often comes across as aloof or indifferent to others, but she has a soft heart beneath her tough exterior. She values honesty and integrity above all else and isn't afraid to speak her mind, even if it means offending someone. However, because of this trait, many people, especially in Kazuri are intimidated by her.

She is very fond of Mi'khora, due to her knowledge of shamanism, and her warm, honest nature.
