Playstyle

Elysion is a dual role character that initially starts out as a Tank, but if the player obtains her corresponding Noah's Core, she can switch to an Assault role called "Elysium Form" mid-battle. This mechanic is unique to her, so it is essential to know when to use her defensive and offensive capabilities. Her defensive kit comprises of mostly crowd control effects such as redirecting aggro, and allowing her to counterattack any hits. She can also survive a fatal blow with the use of "Zan-Yi". The Elysium form allows her to deal as much damage as possible by using the DFP stat, so it is recommended to increase her DFP as often.

She is also the only character that cannot summon a Hi-Frame. Instead, her Elysium Form lets her transform into one.

Techniques

Flow Ability: Aegis

Allows the usage of "Aegis Mode". Passive Enmity +250%.

• It is noteworthy that if the player uses Aegis Mode before triggering Elysium Form, the effects of Aegis Mode will transfer.

Synergy

Rita Laufel

Rita can cast a party-wide buff that increases counterattack damage by 40%. She can also take advantage of Elysion's aggro shift, allowing her to counterattack without the need of her guard command.

Kyou Tsubasa

Kyou can also take advantage of Elysion's aggro shift. Redirecting aggro to Kyou would mean he will be designated as a dodge tank due to his 6th Eye. However, this could be ineffective against enemies that can bypass the Flow Ability.

Miyu Regami

With Miyu as the primary tank, Elysion can switch to her offensive role via style switch.

Lunari Vatiel

Aside from her natural synergy with all characters, Lunari possesses a hidden passive should she exist in the same party as Elysion's. The passive increases 5% of Elysion's DFP per turn, up to 40% max. Since a myriad of Elysion's techniques incorporate DFP to their damage formula, the DFP boost will help increase her damage output even further.
