Lie of Caelum features two Game Modes that the player may possibly utilize at the beginning of the game: True Mode or Astral Mode.
- As of 12/12/2023, Game Modes after "Lie of Caelum" have been nullified.
True Mode
Enter Caelum with little insight and uncover its truths.
- Soft level caps are enforced
- Item drop rates are higher
Astral Mode
Enter Caelum and experience it with less hardship.
- Level caps are lifted
- Item drop rates are lower
Developer's notes:
- True Mode offers a much tighter experience for players who prefer to be challenged. To reward players for their hard work, they are rewarded with 2x item drop rates.
- Astral gives players the freedom to grind however they please, thus rewarding them with a streamlined experience. However, since grinding is involved, item drop rates have been halved.
