Syou once held all cores to himself, cementing his legacy as the strongest Caelite in the entire universe. However, due to his lack of self-control, he decided to store all but one of them inside the mysterious Inverse Towers as an act of penance. The cores are, by design, sentient. They choose their owners, and should a character becomes worthy enough to obtain them, they will start calling out to them through telepathy. In game, the mysterious voices call the player outside normal means, signifying that an Inverse Tower has opened.

The power contained in these cores are said to be from the seraphim themselves.
