"Witness my creation!"

Gigarths Alkazen is a Frame Researcher formerly affiliated with the Caelum Government. He is known for his involvement in the controversy surrounding the fall of Saith Facility in 3011. His defection affected Artoria's reputation, which led to worldwide speculation that the Caelum Government had ties to corruption. His cohorts, Haze and Auburn also defected under his influence. After the Saith incident, he was contacted by a mysterious organization and convinced him that the government needed to be changed. This exchange led him into manipulating the Underground Bandits to become scapegoats for the organization's grand scheme.

Background

Gigarths had a brilliant mind when it comes into the creation of Frames. He was among those who were responsible for making LX-1 Excalibur and all of its successors, which were hallmarked to be some of most advanced Frames in all of Caelum. He was also responsible for the "Hi-Frame" concept, leading to the creation of Elysion and XS-977: Bioslayer (which was Elysion's prototype). He backed the project "Junkyard" as a way to help the bandits and the mysterious organization fight back against forces such as Exodus, and Kazuri.

According to Haze and Auburn, Gigarths had a heart of gold, especially towards those who were affected negatively by the government. However, due to Core's influence, he became deluded on him being "God's instrument", thus causing him to cast aside those who goes against his beliefs.

Working with Underground Bandits

Before his defection from the government, Gigarths stole the "Junkyard" blueprint using Artoria's login details, which led Exodus to believe that she was involved. In addition, he orchestrated a plan to get kidnapped in order to make it seem accidental. This divided Exodus' attention, lowering their defenses significantly, thus allowing the mysterious organization to steal vital data in the process. During his tenure with the bandits, Gigarths developed a limited version of the Junkyard Frame, acting as their own Frame researcher in order to help them force the Prime Minister of Souen to negotiate with them.

While everything went according to plan, Gigarths was met by Syou, who was able to teleport himself to his location due to a tag he placed on him several years ago. This allowed Ridal's forces to escape from the Bandit HQ's self-destruct system.

After his defeat, Gigarths was sent to the maximum security of Sonata Prison by Exodus, where he was sentenced to life in prison for stealing Government property and committing crimes against humanity (most notably for his involvement with the Suicide Train incidents). This was short lived after Bioslayer raided the transport cargo and was able to retrieve him.

Death

After his defeat at the hands of Miyu's group, Gigarths (Now merged with Bioslayer) attempted to self-destruct. Fortunately, Elysion came in the nick of time and shielded everyone from the blast, but at the cost of her systems shutting down.
