Tsurei Kouryu is a male human Kanotian who is currently assigned to Miyayu Regami as a bodyguard in order to fulfill the Regami-Tsubasa Treaty. He possesses the 7th Eye, a variant of the Xth Eye, and takes full advantage of it without showing any signs of fatigue. This makes him one of the most powerful Kanotians to have ever wielded the eyes due to his sheer willpower.
Tsurei is also known to never talk unless necessary, as shown during the player's first encounter with him.
Tsurei was also a former husband to a Tsubasa woman, thus he technically counts as a Tsubasa clanmate, despite his last name being different.
Once certain conditions are met, the player can attempt to duel Tsurei as Kyou Tsubasa. If victorious, Tsurei can become a sparring partner, akin to Kyou's projection. The only difference is that he cannot be KO'd, and the player has the option to reset the fight. This allows players to practice at their fullest potential.
