Xth Eye

The Xth Eye is a latent Flow Ability exclusive only to the followers of the Kanotian religion. Should a Kanotian disobey their religion's teachings, they will be provided an grand assignment as an act of penance. This assignment will take their whole life to fulfill, but will also brand them the eyes in order to help them reinforce their resolve. The assignment usually sends one into isolation, banishment, or bodyguard services, with the last one becoming a popular choice as of the Regami-Tsubasa Treaty.

Depending on how strong a Kanotian's resolve is, they will receive a certain type of Xth eye. These eyes are numbered based on how potent their ability of foresight are, as well as their unique traits. All types of Xth eye can grant the user the ability of foresight by default.

While many view this as an upgrade, its drawbacks are what make most Kanotians fear from obtaining the ability. This is mostly due to many records of people suffering from psychosis and death. There are 13 known types of the Xth Eye thus far, and one special eye that is considered a mutation or a variation of the eye:

1st Eye
Foresight Maximum: 1 second
No other abilities are included. No other drawbacks either.

2nd Eye
Foresight Maximum: 1.5 seconds
User is given tremendous strength, but in return, they are more susceptible to rage.

3rd Eye
Foresight Maximum: 2 seconds
User is given the ability to conjure magic more effectively. However, they can easily be influenced by others.

Known users: Shiro Tsubasa

Beyond this point is where the eyes will cause more drawbacks to the user. By default, these eyes shorten the lifespan of the user.

4th Eye
Foresight Maximum: 2.5 Seconds
User is given the ability to not feel pain. In exchange, their endurance is shortened.

5th Eye (Copy Eyes)
Foresight Maximum: 3 seconds
User can copy a technique as long as it matches their discipline.

6th Eye (Hunter's Eye)
Foresight Maximum: 4 seconds
Combat prowess is significantly increased. However, the user is more prone to bloodthirst.

7th Eye (Mathematician's Eye)
Foresight Maximum: 5 seconds
User is able to calculate complex equations and decisions that rival that of an advanced COM.

8th Eye
Foresight Maximum: 6 seconds

Beyond this point is where the eyes will guarantee death of the user if used too much.

11th Eye
Foresight Maximum: 9 seconds

13th Eye
Foresight Maximum: 5 minutes
The final version of Xth eye. This grants the user all abilities of the previous eyes at the cost of their vision. This also allows the person to implant a code in the person's brain, acting as a virus, to slowly corrupt the user's cognitive thinking.

Nirvana's Eye
Foresight Maximum: 2 seconds
A variation of the eye. Achievable only by those who endured unremarkable pain in their life. This eye grants the user self-healing techniques and awakens their Flow Abilities, even if they do not possess one.
