She is also a part of Genesis, a mysterious organization whose goal is to expunge the current World Government.

Playstyle

Reika is a high-risk, high-reward Assault character with an aggressive playstyle. Her Flow Ability, "Berserker", allows her to sacrifice HP for increased damage output. The lower her HP, the more potent her attacks become. This makes her a formidable force in combat, capable of dealing devastating blows to her enemies. To maximize Reika's effectiveness, players should carefully manage her HP. While her Flow Ability allows her to deal massive damage, it also puts her at risk of being overwhelmed. It's essential to balance her offensive capabilities with defensive strategies to ensure her survival. Using her Defensive Technique at the right moment can help mitigate damage and keep her alive since it allows her to self-heal and provide boosts to her DFP and DEX (even though she becomes restricted from healing for 3 turns).

Background

Born into a life of poverty and hardship in Rhom, Souen, Reika's childhood was marred by her father's violent abuse, intensified by her mother's untimely death. The physical and emotional torment she endured culminated in the loss of her left eye, a permanent scar from her father's brutality. Sold into slavery to a Karsandan human trafficker, Reika's suffering continued as she was subjected to further abuse and exploitation at the hands of various aristocrats.

Her life took a dramatic turn when she was rescued by Higure Akegata, who was an Exodus member at the time. Higure's selfless act of defiance ignited a spark of hope within Reika, and she quickly developed a deep admiration and loyalty for him. Under his guidance, she was trained to become a skilled assassin and martial artist, honing her physical and mental abilities to overcome the trauma of her past. She was also blessed a new eye that is capable of channeling a Kanotian's communion with the Seraph of Reality.

Despite her newfound strength, Reika's past remained a constant source of pain and anger. Driven by a desire for justice, she eventually confronted her father, who was now a broken and remorseful man. While his apology was sincere, Reika's rage consumed her, leading to a tragic confrontation that resulted in her father's death. The weight of her actions, though heavy, provided a sense of closure and liberation from the chains of her past. This resolution caused her eye to awaken as the Nirvana's Eye. This Eye also awakened her Flow Ability, despite not possessing one.
